The Spring Manufacturing Process
Our spring production follows a rigorous, multi-step process to ensure every spring meets exact specifications:
1. CNC Coiling
The process begins with CNC spring coiling machines that feed wire through precisely controlled mandrels-. Our CNC coilers allow for increased accuracy, rapid setup times, and quick turnaround — giving us the flexibility to handle both high-volume runs and custom orders-. The machines can form compression springs, tension springs, and torsion springs-, with real-time adjustments to multiple parameters including diameter, pitch, and coil spacing.
2. Heat Treatment
After coiling, springs undergo heat treatment to relieve internal stress and ensure they retain their elastic memory. This critical step modifies the crystalline structure of the metal through processes like hardening, annealing, quenching, and tempering-. Without proper heat treatment, springs would lose their bounce and fail to perform.
3. Surface Finishing
Depending on requirements, springs may receive additional finishing — shot peening, grinding, powder coating, or electroplating — to enhance durability, corrosion resistance, or appearance.
4. Quality Control
Every batch undergoes CCD vision inspection to catch defects the human eye can't see. Our 15 QC inspectors verify load capacity, free length, outer diameter, and other critical dimensions before packaging.
